Member of the Month
The WBO Member of the Month is selected at each monthly meeting via business card draw. The chosen member is then featured on the WBO website, in our newsletter and during the program of the next monthly meeting! The designated Member of the Month gets a 5 minute slot on the program to present her business. She can also distribute her marketing materials or premium items to meeting attendants. Our special member will also choose the next month’s lucky member. Members must attend the meetings in order to be selected.



 WEX
The Women’s Entrepreneurial Exchange (WEX) is a smaller group within WBO who function as business development entity using a cross-mentoring approach. The purpose of the group is to provide structure, recommendations, and moral support for each member to further her business success.

These self directed, cross mentoring groups meet twice a month, by teleconference and e-mail to discuss topics that are of immediate impact to the group members’ business growth and development.  The WEX groups have had success in the past and there are wonderful testimonies as to how they have helped the group members make significant business progress.  If you are interested in the WEX please express your interest to the Board of Directors or to info@wbo.org.

 

Mentorship
This program is designed to match a newer member business owner with a more seasoned business owner from the same or complementary discipline in a mentor/mentee capacity. The mentor provides one-on-one support, guidance and instruction as the mentee develops her business. This program is currently inactive pending participation.
